Hydrangea in Pink

I made this hydrangea today.

Spent the whole day doing it while watching HK drama with my mom.
Well, spending time with family members is always a must for myself.

Hydrangea in Pink

I used Kure punch to punch out the hydrangea shape. Then, embossed it with embossing pen & ended it with glitter in the middle of the flowers.

I learn it from one of my crafter friend & enjoyed her class last year.

Happy scrappy Sunday!

Self arranged flower & graduation day

Hi everyone

I am writing this post at the middle of the night. It is my graduation day today in another of 8 hours and more.

I am happy & excited for my graduation.

I made a hand bouquet of flowers.

Yes, they are the fake flowers. Yet they are nice & static in colors. Plus, these flowers can be recycled to use at home as flower arrangement in vases.

Happy Sunday!

Scrapbooking (requested by friends)

Scrapbooking attempts by my friends.

This year I made scrap booking requested by my 2 friends.

Scrapbooking - 1 layout each for Sister & Husband for birthday occasion.

This is the layout for sister's birthday. In this layout, I selected few photos which elaborated on sister & family relationship. I used BoBunny (6x6) as the base. Then, adding embellishment - lace, roses, flowers & pearl. I also used distress ink from WRMK & Ranger for the border. Added butterflies from MS punches.

Meanwhile, this is the layout for her hubby's birthday. In this layout, I selected their traveling photos to Europe which elaborated more on love. I used BoBunny (6x6) as the base. Then, adding embellishment - ribbon, shiny stone, crystal stone & fabric tape. I also used distress ink from Ranger for the border. Added snow flakes paper punches to have snowy effect. Loving words was heat embossed too.

Scrapbooking - 1 layout of myself (requested by my friend).

I met up with my friend on Saturday to help her out on scrapbook layout. This is my first attempt to teach my friend on scrapbook with my very little knowledge about scrapbook. Well, we were learning the basic stuffs.

This A4 size card base is easily obtained from local stationery shop. Since it is approx. 80gsm, we paste another heavier card stock behind this fancy flower paper. Then, we add-in the embellishment - flowers, lace, butterflies punches, leaves & buttons. We used Ranger ink to dab on the lace (actual color was white) & page border.

That is all about my scrapbooking attempts.

Happy Sunday!

Re-deco Candy Can

Up-cycle or recycle? Whatever it is, we can make use of anything to re-decorate our rooms or workspace.

I have been google around to search some craft room ideas & found many interesting ideas. I remember also I blog hopped many crafter's blog too. So, I decided to re-decorate one of the used can I have.

Still remember that I have 1 candy can storing my color pencils? You can see from here.
Here is the picture of my candy can. (Tan Kim Hock's candy can)

I used 3 different paper design of acid free paper to wrap around the can. I used brown & dark green color design to have a vintage look. I make use of the lace with dabbing Walnut Stain color. Then, adding the buttons around the can.

Here is the final altered can to store my color pencils. Love it so much.

Happy Sunday!
