Hi everyone. Today we are starting a Blog Hop from July 7 till July 14 at Digistamps4Joy. It would be great fun if you join in and have a look at all the great cards the Design Team has made. We all made easel cards embellished with either glitter or sequins. One follower of the main Digistamps4Joy challenge blog will win a digistamp, so make sure you are a follower there. If you visit each of the links in the list of blog participants, and leave a comment on each blog, you may be the lucky person to win a Digistamps4Joy digistamp from each one! By leaving a comment on each of the participating blogs, you can earn an extra digi here on this main blog. And the digi you can win is what the DT made on her card. So anyone who leaves a comment on the blogs and follows the challenge blog from Digistamps4Joy can win a digi from any of the Design Team blogs. So, you can earn a total of 5 digi’s! Isn’t that a cool prize? Here is my inspirational easel card. Lovely isn't it?
What I did was using washi tape for my background. Digistamp were colored with Derwent Aquatone with glitters added on it to make it like 3D. Added twine from American Crafts as if the flower were tied together. Also added sequins which I bought from Spotlight. Just love how sequins turn out to be like bubbles around the roses. Added some sparkling rhinestones at the base for a feel of elegant. Leave a comment at my blog post also visit & comment my members blogs too.
Today is Chinese New Year eye. Is a big day for us as family members gather and sit together to have reunion dinner.
Most of the years, we had steamboat for reunion. Steamboat - a pot of soup where you put in all type of foods which consists of vegetables, all kinds of meatballs ranging from chicken, fish, squid and pork, mushrooms, seafood & noodles.
However, this year, we have something different - my mom cooks - soup with vegetables, prawn, fish & chicken. This is how it looks like. A simple dinner where mostly we had it every day but a little luxury for having > 1 type of meat. Mostly, what we had for our dinner was 1 vegetable & 1 meat / 1 vegetarian food.
Here, I wish everyone who visited my blog or had been following my blog, a very Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Holiday. May the Year of Monkey brings us peace, abundance of luck, wealth & prosperous year.
Despite of CNY, I have been doing my craft housekeeping project - Stamp Storage Library. I have been searching in Youtube for a best way of keeping track of all kinds of stamps I have.
Here is the short video of my clear stamp library.
